zebu & Jersey cows
Zebus are a small breed of cattle known for their distinctive hump over their shoulders, large ears, and loose skin. They originate from India and are well adapted to hot climates. Jersey cattle are a small breed of dairy cow known for their light brown or fawn-colored coat and gentle nature. They produce milk that is rich in butterfat and protein, making it especially great for making butter and cheese.
Jolene
Jolene is a 7 year old Zebu. She is very calm and moves with gentle intent. She is the leader of the herd.
Connie
Jolene is a 10 year old Zebu and though she is a bit more standoffish than others in our herd she never backs down for a treat.
Shorty
Shorty is a 3 year old mini Zebu bull. Our only bull on the farm and he knows it. His spunky personality is quite amusing though the girls are not impressed.
Jax
Jax is a 10 month old Jersey and is as sweet and calm as they get. He was born on the farm and quickly learned to love his herd, both 4 and 2 legged.
THE GIRLS
Nubian goats
Nubian goats are a breed of domestic goat known for their long, floppy ears and distinctive Roman-shaped noses. They are friendly, adaptable animals and are commonly raised for their milk, which has a relatively high butterfat content.
Echo
Echo is 9 years old and has a very calm, gentle personality. She loves backrubs and all things edible.
Cappy
Cappy is 9 years old and the leader of the herd. She is the most vocal of the group and enjoys head scratches.
Katniss
Katniss is 8 years old and loves to play. You can kind her headbutting and rearing up at her sisters to get their attention.
Amy
Amy is 8 years old and the spicy girl of the bunch. Her standoff attitude quickly disappears when food is present.
THE FLOCK
Chickens & Quail
Chickens
Our flock of 10 is a variety of breeds including Americanos, Easter-Eggers, Leghorn, Maran, Australop, and a Barred Plymouth Rock. They are our pest control around the farm and provide us with 5-7 delicious eggs per day!
quail
We have 7 Cornix quail, also known as Common quail. They are a small ground-dwelling bird found across Europe, Asia, and parts of Africa. They are known for their distinctive call, camouflage, and ability to migrate long distances. Their eggs are dainty and beautiful.

Millie
Millie is a 3 year old Florida Hare and loves to be outside using her strong hind legs to jump around. She is an albino and absolutely loves attention and affection.
PuNkin
Punkin is a 3 year old Rex, known for their short, soft, velvety fur. Her big, loving eyes invite you in for some snuggles.
THE BOYS
Tortoises
Yoda
Yoda is a 27 year old, 150 pound Sulcata tortoise and the boss on the farm. You can walk along side him as he roams for hours until he finds the perfect shady spot in the food forest to camp out under for a few hours.
Herbert
Herbert is a 4 year old, 8 pound Sulcata tortoise and always up for some back scratches. He is very curious and loves to explore but is always a great napper.
THE Mare

Breezy
Breezy is a 5 year old paint and can't get enough attention and treats. She doesn't have a permanent home at the farm yet but absolutely loves to come visit for our camps and equine programs.
